2022 Ford Ranger

Most mid-size trucks are not known for providing muscle, but the new Ford Ranger is an outlier, earning best-in-class payload and torque ratings.

A 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine producing 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque allows Ann Arbor drivers to haul a best-in-class payload of 2,128 pounds and tow up to 7,500 pounds. The new Ford Ranger is also fuel efficient, earning 26 miles per gallon on highways in and out of Detroit and 21 miles per gallon on Westland city streets.

The Ford Co-Pilot360™ safety suite includes a Tow-Optimized BLIS® Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert to make towing through the Detroit metro simpler and safer. The SYNC®3 Infotainment setup features voice-activated technology. Westland shoppers can select a Ford Ranger SuperCab (with six-foot truck bed) or SuperCrew model (with five-foot truck bed) for their cab size.

2022 Ford Maverick

Livonia drivers will love the all-new Ford Maverick, as the first-ever standard full-hybrid pickup displays innovations yet seen in trucks. The new Ford Maverick can tow between 2,000 and 4,000 pounds while taking on a 1,500-pound payload.

The standard hybrid powertrain - 2.5-liter Atkinson inline-4 engine paired with a 94-kW battery pack - earns 40 miles per gallon on highways to Ann Arbor and has a total power output of 191 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque. Dearborn Heights drivers can still earn 23/30 (city/highway) miles per gallon when switching to the optional 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 powertrain that produces 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.

This innovative truck touts a standard 8-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Work from anywhere in Detroit or Michigan with a 4G LTE in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot powered by FordPass™ Connect.

The Ford Maverick's functional cabin features creative storage solutions and FITS (Ford Integrated Tether Slots). Livonia motorists will love the exterior design that offers dual 115-volt outlets, shorter bed walls, LED headlights, a multi-position tailgate, and a 4.5-foot customizable FLEXBED™.

2022 Ford F-150

The Ford F-150 features a functional and premium interior along with five robust powertrains that result in class-leading towing and payload capabilities.

Canton customers can choose between Regular Cab, Super Cab, or SuperCrew Cab designs and 5.5 to 8.0-foot truck beds for the Ford F-150, America's best-selling full-size pickup.

A multitude of headlight designs and wheel designs are available for Detroit motorists to pick out, led by the LED Projector with Dynamic Bending Headlamps. Enjoy superior utility for your Detroit worksite with an available interior work surface, innovative Tailgate Work Surface, built-in clamp pockets, and cargo cleats. Some Ann Arbor motorists will be intrigued by the off-road-oriented Ford F-150 Raptor model.

The Ford Co-Pilot360™ safety suite and the SYNC® 4 Infotainment system are both standard. Some features include an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and an available onboard generator and navigation.

Equip your Ford F-150 with rear-wheel drive or optional four-wheel drive. The 2022 model loses its diesel engine, but five engines are still available, led by the standard 3.3-liter V6 that outputs 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. Most Ford F-150 powertrains are equipped for 10,000 pounds of towing, though this full-size truck boasts a max towing rating of 14,000 pounds.

The fuel-efficient 3.5-liter PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6 engine (25/26 miles per gallon) tows an impressive 12,700 pounds thanks to 430 ponies and 570 pound-feet of torque. A normal 3.5-liter EcoBoost® twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering 400 ponies and 500 pound-feet of torque, is also available. The lone V8 engine, 5.0-liters, produces 400 horsepower, 410 pound-feet of torque, and boasts a best-in-class max payload rating of 3,325 pounds.

2022 Ford F-150 Lightning

Switch up to an EV Ford truck with the all-new, all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning. This electrifying truck offers purposeful technology, a staggering 775 pound-feet of nearly instantaneous torque, and Ford Intelligent Backup Power. The Ford F-150 Lightning uses two motors and a lithium-ion battery pack to produce 563 horsepower. This all-electric truck touts a 10,000-pound maximum towing capacity, a 2,000-pound payload rating, and an Independent Rear Suspension.

Dearborn drivers know how much battery power they have left thanks to Intelligent Range. The Ford F-150 Lightning has a standard range of 230 miles and earns up to 300 miles of all-electric range with the extended-range battery. Powerful charging solutions with FordPass™ Integration allow for remote access and seamless access to public charging across Ann Arbor and metro Detroit. A provided 32-amp Ford Mobile Charger enables charging from a traditional 120-volt or 240-volt outlet.

Multiple 120-volt outlets are in the cab and truck. Enhanced Pro Power Onboard offers an available 9.6 kW of max power and 11 outlets so Detroit drivers can turn their truck into a portable generator. Other top features include over-the-air Software Updates and the SYNC® 4 Technology featuring SYNC 4A with a 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen. The available BlueCruise uses a driver-facing camera and radar-sensing technologies for hands-free driving on prequalified Detroit highways.

2022 Ford Super Duty Trucks

Ford Super Duty trucks - Ford F-250, Ford F-350 and Ford F-450 models - are the most powerful work trucks Westland shoppers can buy. They all come with the same trio of V8 engines and towing technology. Ford F-250 and Ford F-350 Super Duty tucks have the same cab designs (Regular Cab, Super Cab, Crew Cab) and truck bed lengths (6.75 or 8.0 feet).

Canton customers may be wondering what makes the Ford F-250 and F-350 different? The Ford F-250 is smaller in stature, making it more economical. The Ford F-350 features dual rear wheels, a towing-tuned suspension, a reinforced midsection, a large rear block, and increased performance ratings, making it a more sensible commercial work truck for Detroit drivers. Ford F-450 Super Duty trucks have long beds and showcase great utility with the Chassis Cab model.

Ford F-250 Super Duty pickups have a 4,270-pound max payload rating and can tow up to 18,500 pounds. Ford F-350 Super Duty trucks up those ratings to 7,640 pounds and 32,000 pounds, respectively. Livonia shoppers can select any of the following Ford Super Duty V8 powertrains:

  • 6.2-liter V8: 385 horsepower, 430 pound-feet of torque
  • 7.3-liter V8: 430 horsepower, 475 pound-feet of torque
