Ford Global Caring Month

The Ford Volunteer Corps recently sent thousands of employees around the country to help with building homes, improving access to clean water, and more. In fact, the brand has expanded to do an estimated 300 projects during the month of September, contributing a whopping $700,000 for tools, supplies, and more. This is just one of the many ways Ford is giving back with the Global Caring Month.

Ford at the Laguna Conference

Ford is actively collaborating with entrepreneurs and others who are involved in developing automotive technologies. That's one reason the company participated in the sixth-annual Morgan Stanley's Laguna Conference. It shared details on the Transportation Mobility Cloud, a new cloud-based platform for mobility solutions. Ford is also working with Commercial Services and Non-Emergency Medical Transport to come up with new programs that can help the communities it's involved with. While at the conference on September 12, Ford primarily discussed a culture of innovation and Ford Smart Mobility.

Ford Labor Day Events and Stories

Ford has always been a supporter of the working class, dating back to the early twentieth century when it introduced the $5-a-day minimum wage in 1914. Ford is also a major supporter of other professions, including police, fire responders, and construction crews who use F-Series trucks. "We at Ford understand the value of hard work. That's why for 115 years we've been dedicated to building quality vehicles that help Americans get jobs done in their communities," said Joe Hinrichs, president of Global Operations at Ford. To commemorate this year's Labor Day, the brand decided to launch a media campaign with TV spots that highlighted hard-working Ford employees.
